World slab and HRC prices are rising sharply, in anticipation of increases in coking coal and iron ore prices. This present a window of opportunity to BSL to sell steel with current low input costs while proces are reflecting high input costs.
The opportunity may not last long.
If the brokers actually did some work and subsribed to CRU or other publications, they would know this.
Your comment that the brokers seemed clueless is an apt statement, because IMO, they are.
