The point about the pay is valid compared to the pre-revenue aspect of the company. Why not a payment in options or something like that. It is a hell of a pay package for a market cap this low for a company that keeps raising money.

Generally speaking I'd say the age thing is valid too. I personally think Brian is obviously very sharp, and of course seasoned, which is a good mix to have. But let's just talk facts here. Australian average male life expectancy is something like 81 years, and that's for babies born between 2018-2020, where health standards and medical capabilities are higher than in the past. This company, if all goes to plan, will be a cash flow machine for years, well past a decade if I'm not wrong. I wouldn't go as far as calling it "key man risk" given the team seems to be really good as a whole, but this isn't something you have to worry about with a 55 year old executive.
