AGREE with many of your points as it is some background to the points I presented.

    Once bitten twice shy.

MY next Volvo was going to be manufactured in China and I made the decision I would change brands.

Volvo will now not manufacture there so I will be able to consider one again.

on your other post I don’t know how you concluded I have obviously never worked in manufacturing (which happens to be partly true) but I understand manufacturing as one element of business to a better than the average street dude I suggest.

. I have had a business that subcontracted manufacturing for our product to two local Aust. producers both with CHInese connections.
One changed to a CHInese production line and subsequently exited the business and another whose business was JVd subsequently by CHInese partners.

Both business were beset with many and varied problems, too complex to iterate on this site.
My knowledge of Economics and International trade however is not determined by the above alone.
A post grad degree and marketing roles have provided me with considerable insight,
however, product purchases are the living proof for all.

THe CHInese have and continue to steal intellectual property (as much a fault of the western naivete) as their culturally propensity for doing so.
    I STANd by that.
