The announcement makes numerous references to 'accelerating' activities at the KMP and Dubbo off-take and financing. I sincerely hope this means improving on the timelines included in the recent Q Report and Presentation.
I also noted in a screenshot of the Dubbo MOD application that someone posted recently that the MOD application referenced 'change to mine layout, infrastructure and reagent transportation, and increase to mine life'.
I believe the original approval was for 30 or 35yrs? Whereas we have a 70yr + resource. Perhaps the eventual approval of the mine life extension is something ASM are hanging their hat on to get them out of this KCF mess.
Surely if there is a 70yr+ resource, plus a permit to mine for 50-70yrs, that would be enough to lure a strategic partner much sooner?
It would make the CAPEX much easier to swallow.
