Looking at the dividend and the fact that WBC had noteable items of 1.1 billion - if i add that back into profits for next year, with assumption that it wont be repeated, and wbc maintain the payout ratio for dividends are we likely to get a dividend around 150c all things being equal? 1.1billion/5.3 = 20% * 125c = 150c
I think yes, so I picked up 1000 WBC yesterday at avg $23.36 hoping for yield next year of 6.4% = $1.50/$23.36, plus the 64c on 20/12/2022.
I would have picked up more but out of cash.
