So if a share price goes from 1 cent to 0.5 cents - is that a good signal? Look at Blockbuster in the USA. It used to trade at $30. It now trades for less than 30 cents. Is that a good buy?

Stop looking at charts and look at the company. That's what they have reports and ASX releases for.
