The WBC results as just announced are not any laughing matter and being positive to let these bankers off the hook for their dreary performance is not serious investing. Understand the emotional attachment for many with the banking sector over time but the halcyon days (such as they were) are well and truly over. Now merely fading businesses with CEO's, Boards and so on dwelling in the past unable or unwilling to deal with contemporary economic and global factors.
