I also recall discussion about the great results and the supremacy of management - none of which have been disproved; but I also recall reference to the stock being unattractively priced.

Why, that discussion of lack of valuation appeal that coincided with a number of us selling our Reece shares. Despite how great the macro environment was at the time.

Incidentally, what I also recall was suggestion of Reece's beachhead in the USA, namely the state of Texas, being a dumb place to start the company's US adventure because that state's economy was overly dependent on oil and gas and oil and gas was going to go the way of the dodo. Remember that ? Or forgotten it due to the subliminal biases?
