I find it remarkable how often you see something trade all the way back down to fill a gap, I was running the ruler over something earlier today and saw something retrace to close a gap back almost 2 years ago. I used to think those waiting for gaps to close just had OCD (joking ... kind of) but I keep a very open mind now on something on a downtrend to see if there is a gap hidden somewhere back off the screen as a guide to where it might find its bottom when all other TA indicators really give you nothing.
