Praying I did that for a few years but no longer, some points from my personal experience:
1. My advice is Do NOT do it, in my view it’s pretty much gambling.
2. If you decide to DT then make sure you only bet/use what you can afford.
3. Make sure you still do your research and understand the business. This is important to ensure you are getting in and out at the right time and also to be able to make split second decisions to sell or not after any price sensitive announcements.
4.Very stressful, depending on how much funds you have to invest, you could be up/down thousands of dollars in the blink of an eye.
5. A lot of games and manipulation taking place, this will become more apparent once you make frequent transactions and watch the queues. Eg propping up the sp by loading the buy side or having high number of Danton sell orders.
6. Watch out for the online forums such as HC, you’d be surprised how people mislead and post unsubstantiated posts to affect other investors or potential investors. Take what’s being posted with a pinch of salt.
7. It would help if you have a close friend or someone that you could discuss and bounce ideas around with. Also for a bit of moral support for not so good days.
8. Be cautious but try to take advantage of the end of day auctions.
9. dont get emotionally attached to any company shares. If you can’t gauge a company’s shares price movements and make a loss from it, don’t chase it just move on.

10. Tax time could be complicated to sort through hundreds of transactions.
