Someone with deep pockets could buy in now for a potentially quick return if the SP was to open. And trade at a huge discount to the $9 non binding offer.
there are still risks. But this is a case if an entity was fairly confident that the offer would remain at $9 then a quick return can be made.
Even I am thinking of purchasing 20 k of shares if the opening price is less than $6.50. It could be a return of nearly 39% in a short period. Ofcourse risk is they walk after due diligence. A reduction would still be ok provided the board still accepts it.
