Yes. Listens/checks for orders coming through. The same is used to cancel their buy/sell orders. Eg if their intention is to prop up the sp then they’ll have many large buy orders with no intention to actually buy any shares, and if a seller decides to sell into their buy orders, their bots detects the sell order, within milliseconds cancel the buy order, in that case if the sell order was on market price then had the bots not cancelled the buy order the transactions would’ve successfully gone through.
