I remember what happened there - he explained he didnt sell any...he re-arranged his holdings. Some, including me, thought the same as you.
He has always consistently said he is in ESI until take over. I think his appointment confirms his view.
He was/is a LT holder come what may...thats positive.
He will have to notify the ASX in the next few days of his direct holdings.
