The only things that work for LMG re energy supply:
fossil fuel
Nukes
Hydro - run of river
Hydro - Pumped Storage.
Wind+Solar+ batteries - lets say, you don't give a boy a man's job. Why - in 25 years all the solar wind and batteries need to be replaced with great gnashing of teeth about all the landfill being taken up by burying renewables and the loss of unrecoverable rare metals.
Whereas in the list, other than fossil - they will hang around 24/7/365 like a farmers axe. Sometimes a century.
