Presumably they put MF on annual leave until his leave balance unwound to zero and then terminated. Hence the delay. Otherwise his leave balance could have been material.. lucky for the long service leave cashouts a few years ago as this wouldn't be a good time to write the cheque..
Sad to see MF go but the company still has a bright future if new management can execute.
