I think it's very disruptive at this time.
Two new CMOs now have steep learning curves about RAC, Zantrene and epitranscriptomics just when trials are being designed. If the trials were already underway, it might be less disruptive.
And no sooner is the interim CMO up to speed than he will be gone.
Also, if David leaving has been known for a long time, why hasn't a new permanent CMO been found already? Maybe that's easier said than done. So it's disruptive.
