SLR did a similar raising 6 months back the sp took a hit but is up at least 25% now, they promised to use the placement money for drilling which they seem to haved one and the results coming in have pushed the sp up.
I would think AAM are thinking along the same lines use money to get the plant running sweet and also for grade control drilling near the plant on the new found ground
You may be cutting your nose to spite your face by taking managments effort away from the job on hand by questioning the placement.
6 Months from now I am betting looking back you will vindicate the MD for his decision IMHO.
