Anyone looking at this stock knew that they were going to have to raise capital within either this quarter or the next at the very latest. No reasonable company is going to put out a quarterly stating that the company has less than two quarters of funding available and try and explain that away before getting screwed when they try and raise capital with their back to the wall.
It isn't great but the share price was always going to be capped until the funding was in the bank.
Management have their own money where their mouth is on this one. If they didn't participate in the raise, everyone would be having a go at them for that. Over the last few months everyone has had plenty of opportunity to buy on market at prices well below the CR price so not really too sure what the fuss is about.
The ANSTO results are the next major catalyst and are really make or break for this company, if they come back as we all hope and the share price goes nowhere then we have an issue.
