The other thing I have been thinking about was why the Tasmanian government with broad positive sentiment from Labor, the Liberals and the Greens walked away from providing some sort of short term assistance to FEA. They have helped a number of other Tasmanian companies over the last few years.

Was it:

A) Why risk state money when a commercial resolution was close?

or

B)FEA needed more help than the state could reasonably provide?

or even

C) The banks have guaranteed the jobs anyway if FEA collapses?
