I certainly don't discount the possibility that they tighten until something dramatically breaks, in fact I think that's likely, so I can see your point about waiting for "an event" to get in.

The stuff I spoke about with confidence in the USD and global stockpiling of gold isn't this sort of overnight event. It's more likely to play out over a number of years. I just highlighted it as I think that it's structurally supportive of the gold price in the medium to long term. I could see an environment where gold grinds 10-15% higher before the bigger event you mentioned takes place (and NST along with it). This being the case I'm content to hold, hoping to see NST continuing to grind higher and maybe that the "mooning event also comes along". (Whilst good for NST this "event" would likely have a negative impact on other areas of my portfolio.)
