So I need some help understanding something. Was this wave and technicals always going to occur? Would it have occured without the "rumours" suddenly dropped by the media coincidentally one day after a great run up? Do rumours and bad news trigger technicals?
Or is it a more simple explanation? Such as, CXO had a big run so it is a natural occurrence that profit taking will occur when certain trading parameters and indicators are hit?
Sorry for the ignorance but I'm trying to understand how to see the market more clearly!
