The GDP of USA and other Western countries compared to, say, China would suggest differently? It has taken USA roughly 250 years to become a powerhouse. China has been around for many thousands.

Given there are 1.2 billion Chinese and even more Asians you'd be hard pressed not to find hard working people. The ones that can come here as overseas students are usually from higher class of society. Uni fees are not cheap.

Yet there is also extreme poverty in Asia. Mind boggling really. Especially in India.

Not sure what your posts wanted to say but it has a whiff of superiority about it. I have many Asian friends and some do look down on Westerners. Not sure why that is. But if I say something I am branded a racist because, apparently, only caucasians can be racist.
