that's a short term view dunnycan, more drilling would've meant spending more money, which would've meant debts... sure such a strategy in the short term would inflate the share price, but looking long term saving $20-30million on needless drilling puts $20-30 million back into the pockets of shareholders :)
Extensive drilling only serves to sate the appetite of greedy bankers whom only care for the certainty that their loans will be repayed with interest; and that of drilling operators. For me, personally, you think you've found gold? what are you waitin for? here's a shovel, dig!
