I actually agree with all your sentiments.

And contrary to what my strong reaction to the significantly increased levels of short selling and market manipulation we've been experiencing the last couple of months might suggest, I'm in this for the long haul too; I first bought in at 13c and have been accumulating since. I never bought into SYA to make a quick buck, on the contrary like is the case with many others here, SYA is my ticket to early retirement, baby! And I've got no desire nor need to offload a single share before then.

That being the case you'd think I'd take daily swings and stagnant periods in my stride, wouldn't you, especially given I actively trade on a daily basis which isn't for the faint hearted. Well normally I would given I'm quite possibly one of the most easy going people you could ever meet, I do however have some issues pertaining to impulse control and irritability due to a brain tumour diagnosis and subsequent treatment what seems like a lifetime ago now, which only seems to get out of control if I'm sleep deprived, which I have been, hence throwing my toys out the cot yesterday and having a hissy fit about something that not only won't make a lick of difference in the long term and but even a day later doesn't phase me.

So do I think I was acting like a bit of a drama queen? Absolutely. Was it ridiculous to act as though the drop in SP was leaving me in financial ruins and all but taking the shirt off my back, when in reality I want for nothing and in a very fortune position? Once again, absolutely. And am I embarrassed? No, actually. Because how many people get diagnosed with a brain tumour and are lucky enough to even be around to make a twat of themselves in front of a group of random people on the internet all these years later? I'm eternally grateful to still have the opportunity to feel embarrassment and go a few nights without a good night sleep and to be able to invest in a share that tanks the next day, because that means you're one of the lucky ones.

As I said, I'm in this for the long haul and look forward to cracking a bottle of Isabella's Islay with you fine folk when our day of celebration arrives.

(Side note, I still think shorters are the scum sucking bottom feeders of disallowed, tumour or no tumour).

    Good luck today, guys.
(And my sincere apologies if that was triggering for anyone).
