So why is there no undisputable data , after all if the cells were predictable it should be easy to prove benifit. But no clinical benifit has been shown after 150 patients been treated. That would indicate ether the cells do not work or they do but only in a very small population that remain unknown.
DFU The only conclution one can make is that the cells seem safe , I would be surprised if the DSMB were tasked to look at efficacy.
I was surprised at the progress made with the OA trial however if it is allowed to run its full length resaults will remain unknown till mid 26- 27. The half way point is now very close and this could triger a review by the DSMB. The recomendation to continue as planed would be a very big relief to the market as the outcome is at a pivotal point. But what if they stoped the trial? A single didget SP while investors hope for a more positive outcome for DFU.
