Folks - we should all be aware that SPN is essentially a graphine coatings company that has fortuitously stumbled upon a couple of university research projects that could use SPN's coatings expertise.

Each of SPN's present seemingly wildly different projects - marine paint additives / coatings for a hydrogen device / battery separator experiments by a Queensland university - are all related to the coatings business.

My understanding is that SPN are not doing any specific scientific research work on the hydrogen or battery projects as such, apart from supplying different graphine coatings when needed - it is the various university researchers who are actually doing this work.

We know SPN is part of a consortium with FFI & Adelaide Uni for the hydrogen project, & because SPN is the only listed company in the consortium, it is my understanding SPN is required to report any progress to its shareholders in a timely way.

If these projects are commercially successful SPN shareholders (& of course the staff/office holders with their generous free & performance shares) will benefit accordingly.
