In my original post I was talking mainly about Germany - if you look at Europe as a whole there are other sources to be considered such as Azerbegani gas of which supply is being increased .
Another important supplier to Europe is Algeria .

Also while Germany is still waiting for it's LNG facility to be completed many othe rcountries have them and are being supplied largely from Quatar and the US .
Bu tEurope as a whole is weaning itself slowly off fossil fuels also and demand decreases slowly year on year .

Russia is unlikely to ever again regain much of their previous European gas market .
