The issues with supply chain disruption and access to parts (e.g. semi-conductors) are commercial realities that individual industries have little influence over. But the situation is vastly improved compared to the chaos we witnessed during the Covid peak. Management can do no more than order via reliable suppliers in good faith. It would be unlikely for any competitor to be getting preferential treatment.

It is my firm belief that companies supplying EV infrastructure will be as important to the EV revolution as the suppliers of battery-grade chemicals. A handful of companies may even end up dominating the sector.

RFT just looks to be too great an opportunity right now. We shall see what comes to pass but I believe that it is currently undervalued.

Regardless of the state of the international economy, more and more jurisdictions will be legislating to end their dependence on the internal combustion engine. The rollout of electric vehicles is one of the easiest ways for any country to satisfy international commitments to lower carbon emissions. Every country has made such commitments and the need to uphold, and increase, these commitments underlies all current international diplomacy, whether we like it or not. So expect lots of state and federal incentives over the coming years to help keep our air clean and our carbon emissions at compliable levels.

FWIW, I am also patiently assessing which battery recycling companies to invest in. IMO, the recycling of precious battery chemicals will become another major opportunity in the EV investment thematic. Some commentators believe that the battery recycling industry will become so large that it may even become the primary supplier of battery chemicals post 2030. Northvolt already says that 97% of a battery is recyclable.

RFT could be a life-changing investment for many of us and appears to be a huge opportunity at the current MC.
