It’s possible the sp has been depressed as Uganda doesn’t have a FTA with the USA, and thus is excluded from benefits associated with the Inflation Reduction Act. AFAIK. And investors have been looking to buy into companies benefiting from that Act.
I noticed the Investor Presentation quite heavily emphasizes USA alignments, military needs, collaborations. So I’m thinking IXR are aware of this crack being in Uganda, and are looking to address, redress, the situation by defining their political alignment. And being a major future source of HRE, perhaps the USA will make some concessions to enable sourcing of product from IXR.
Our SP may start to bump from this news.
