Seems that everyone saw what they wanted to see. Rudd, to me, appeared muddled and vague. How does this change in funding improve health outcomes? Honestly, I just don't get it. He's supposed to be the one with policies. He called on the debate. I listened intently and I am none-the wiser. I think it just comes down to personal style. Abbott is blokey, strong, deliberate, predatory. I'd like to have a beer with him. Rudd to me (but obviously not to many others)comes across as non-thretening, nerdy, shifty, self-pitying, needy, lacking authenticity, fake, contrived.
I would love to challenge Paul Kelly and all the other journos who declared Rudd the winner - can they explain the Govt's health policy and how it leads to better outcomes. I bet they can't.
