Yes @flotsam222, it appears that TSMC have taken the same approach as WBT, and qualified to existing standards for flash. The purpose, of course, is to demonstrate in the first instance that ReRAM at least matches the performance of Flash. From there, the ReRAM players will likely carve out a new industry niche (actually 2 - embedded and discrete), with a new spec that will reflect the superior capabilities of ReRAM. This new standard will not go as far as the technical limits of the technology. For both engineering and commercial reasons it will be necessary to keep an appropriate safety margin.
