polygamy ? How many Australians are polygamists?

Is it against the law here?

If it is how and why do POLYGAMISTs gain entry to the country?

Every woman should be motivated to find out more
and every time I read about some-one being jailed for ie kissing if not married in public? in a Muslim counrty.
I wonder about our weak double standards allowing polygamists to come here.

Allowing polygamist entry into Australia should be against the law of our country and they should be turned away just like others that break our laws, imo.
This should be a legal matter not a religious matter.

I have noticed real social delemas arise when immigrants from Africa find our marital laws differ from their culture ARE we importing future conflict and eroding womens' equality?
