I haven't been following the detail of this, but I will just point out if the court decides the original decision was invalid, that is not the same as the court ordering the govt to make a different decision - the government will merely be ordered to make the decision again, after whatever is deemed to be due process.
If BPH share-holders think the new Federal Government will then make a different decision, in the face of implacable teal opposition (this exploration project is off the shore of their electorates), well, that's optimistic.
