There is very little mention of spodumene in most of the announcements relating to Trigg Hill. I have tried to research as much as I can about Trigg Hill and the old Curlew emerald mine, but there is very historical data on these sites.
But If you look at where the southern first phase of drilling, took place on Trigg Hill (not East Curlew)

and compare the early maps of Trigg Hill

You can see they have focused the drilling around the previously mined "blue section".

These open excavations are clearly what has got Yahau invested in this property. I'm not sure how deep the excavations go but clearly, they give a good indication on what is under the ground! And it's clearly good enough for Yahau! & One week into the drill program and they upped their stake in us....


Also explains their confidence in starting the second phase of drilling, they are not going in blind! With the open previous excavation, they have a pretty good indicator on where to start the drilling.
