Why would they now deliver to North Carolina? I mean literally the sentence you've highlighted states to "Piedmont's planned lithium hydroxide plant". Obviously that doesn't exist and won't do for some considerable time, so why would the JV spend money and waste joint profit delivering to a field in NC??

I mean who knows, maybe the PLL spod and the SYAQ spod over the OTA will all just be sold to the same customer anyway, either in Quebec or Ohio, until the carbonate plant is up and running.

Ever thought of that? Piedmont would still take their same profit from the OTA, but would make shipping and an offtake deal with potential major customer more viable no?

Not a single ton of spod from NAL will ever be delivered to Piedmont's site in Gaston County buddy.
