I do not see the negotiation quite as advanced as you although I agree that this should pave the way to final terms being agreed by both. CUE talk about a "number of significant provisions" being changed, and these not being acceptable to CUE in current form.... but attemting to resolve differences.

I think this means they are doing just that. Good news is that MEO is in a position to discuss/negotiate and to secure an outcome with CUE. MEO may need to adjust a little here, but wont have to start again.

I think the uncertainty over last couple of days was about whether there were deliberate tactics to derail agreement.

Looks like this defibnately was not the case and its just MEO asking for a little too much. Should definately be resolvable. Com on now Jurgen!
