Thoughts from anybody else that has just been force upgraded from Iress Webiress to viewpoint? @IRESS
Ignoring the lack of rtd excel which they have hiked the price by 2300%, the entire interface apart from the charts is appalling.
Every single widget takes up so much more screen space now and the ability to customize columns shown and order on the depth and news widgets is totally missing. The Screen is now mostly empty space, yet at the same like the new HC website or the attempt by the ASX at a new news feed.
Volume is now presented in imprecise rounded numbers on any watchlist. ie, not 1650000 on the bid. Now it says 2m on the watchlist whether the bid volume is 1500001 or 2499999.
It is laughable that this is considered an 'information system'.
It will not even save a watchlist I have. I suspect it can only handle a smaller number of stocks on that watchlist but am yet to determine what that limit is.
It is a disinformation system and a huge step backward imo.
I could live with the BS if I still had the excel rtd as I would only have to use it for order entry. But as a view on the market, it may as well come with a poker machine handle on the side for all the irrelevant action going on.
Has anyone else been upgraded overnight?
