You might be able to use your old banger somewhere in 10 years time but in most countries in the world it will be against the law - yeah collectors may get a concession to have a rally. I don't disagree that the "standard" EV is as easy to use as an ICE today but it's changing rapidly and they will advance very quick from here. Range, cost, speed of charging etc. will all be far improved over the next decade or so. Must admit just buying a wedge for the next 2 years until we can get what we want in electric
