It sucks. I had shares in a couple of companies that done this, DGR being the worst experience. The $500 parcels sold into every attempt to rally. Fortunately they didn't have a scale back but a first come first serve basis and returned my cheque. I doubt DGR would do that again and whist it is legal it does harm existing shareholders.
Hopefully some good news happens quickly and the likelihood of a scale back deters many of them. I'll apply for $15000 with the expectation of 10,000. I wonder if the company will have the option to close the spp early?
