Does it concern anyone else that we may have to go a phase 3 for dogs alone (?)

Nah not me Jock. I can't see how a company that's run on the fumes of an oily rag all these years will suddenly lash out on such a big and expensive thing like that without being assured there was a partner to take it all the way. Much more likely they'd do a phase 2 human cancer trial before that. In the meantime they'll continue with their current canine phase 2 (b) trial in Oz, NZ and Texas and keep working around, looking for a partner. And yes, they've been talking about talking to big pharmas for a very long time, but it wasn't until the first batch of results from the current dog trialing started coming in late last year that there was anything realistic to go to the market with, at least imo.
