I hear you, but I think that only works in any meaningful way when the labs aren't being completely and utterly overwhelmed by demand (i.e. under circumstances in which the labs simply stop giving timing estimates). Forget +/- a coupla weeks. The lab turnaround times blew-out by months.
I do wonder how the lab demand situation is tracking now.
