Good morning from Germany!
Guys, it gets even better! Because now Goldman Sachs is already contradicting itself or have they lost any expertise?
According to a report, Goldman Sachs has probably calculated that Europe and the USA could decouple themselves from China in the field of EV's if they themselves mine the materials and the batteries
would make themselves.
For this it says:
The report calculated that countries competing with China would spend $78.2 billion on batteries, $60.4 billion on components, and $13.5 billion on mining lithium, nickel and cobalt, and $12.1 billion on the refining these materials, FT said.
One predicts the price fall of the most important raw material - sees an overproduction coming - which would further degrade the price and now wants the USA and Europe to pay hundreds of billions
invest in an area - which according to their forecasts - soon none
yields more profits? Isn't that schizophrenic? Which one
Investor would do that?
In Germany we already have shadow accounts, reach ours
2% NATO contribution target again not struggling with the conversion of
Energy industry and, thanks to the pandemic, already have new debts in the billions in front of their chests.
It seems to me like Goldman Sachs would invest in government bonds!
Things are no better in the USA, the country with the highest
national debt worldwide. How long would the Republicans
watch when money is pumped into a sector which, according to Goldman Sachs forecasts, will soon hardly be
is attractive for investors?
Apart from that, the chronological scale is not correct here
Goldman Sachs is targeting the year 2030. As proven by reality
it takes an average of 10 years to bring a mine into operation.
Resistance is emerging in Europe and the US when
Mining areas are close to populated areas or disadvantages
bring to the population. Environmental permits - see
James Bay - drag on for years, all of which seems to be wearing off
Just ignore Goldman Sachs?
Goldman Sachs - for me just the conglomerate of oil and gas
Lobby - who cannot stand change.
