Hi everyone,
i am as frustrated as all of you are with regards to the lack of information update/ progress update. it will be nice for BLR to have a rough guide/timeline and their ability to achieve them in their reports. eg short term goals, medium term and longer term.
that's why i am constantly trying to find extra information from Dr Google and sharing it here.
I hope that all the waiting and patience will pay off very shortly....
anthony,
from what i can recall the quiet title claim is to prevent future disagreement in case "another company" comes up and say that they own part of the land etc. they wanted to make sure that their land holdings belong to them and the current owners only.
we have seen stories of companies getting into trouble with lawsuit etc due to these unforeseen circumstances
in BLR's case, i do not really think it was a court case where someone filed a lawsuit. it was initiated by BLR to avoid future problems. So it is meant to be a GOOD thing.
please feel free to correct me if i am wrong.
alexjo,
were you refering to this link for the current progress of the water monitoring at the taylor ranch dated 24 march 2010
2009 Progress Report: Taylor Ranch Project, Fremont County, Colorado
http://taccolorado.com/portal//index.php?option=com_docman&task=doc_download&gid=113&Itemid=28
excerpt
Dear Commissioners and Mr. Giordano:
Western Water & Land, Inc. (WWL) has prepared this progress report to provide information on
the status and activities associated with the Taylor Ranch Project being conducted by Black
Range Minerals (BRM) and their consultant Whetstone Associates, Inc. As you are fully aware,
the Taylor Ranch Project is a uranium exploration project located in Fremont County within the
Tallahassee Creek and Cottonwood Creek watersheds, approximately 20 miles north of Caon
City, Colorado.
Activities conducted by BRM in 2009 were limited to preparation and submittal of rehabilitation
reports to the Colorado Division of Reclamation, Mining and Safety (DRMS), quarterly reports to
Fremont County, and field sampling of domestic wells and surface water sites as presented in the
Taylor Ranch Project Baseline Hydrologic Monitoring Plan prepared for BRM by Whetstone. In
2008, WWL reviewed this monitoring plan and submitted several suggested revisions; the
revisions were incorporated into the plan. In addition, collaboration with Whetstone resulted in
other plan revisions. No drilling or other mineral exploration activities were conducted.
This progress report summarizes the BRM submittals to the county and the findings of a field
inspection during the fourth quarter sampling event. The report also addresses two issues of
concern or interest that were voiced at the WWL public presentation in November, 2008; mud pit
contamination and the historic exploration and monitoring conducted by Cyprus for the Hansen
Project.
