In general I agree with this.
But even if you are a multinational giant, usually you are that successful because you pay the least price possible.

3M could afford any which price for OBJ, I agree.
But if you talk multiples for T/O prices from current levels, a difference between 7 cents and 4.8 cents times 4 or so makes quite a difference on your check book.

I worked with large companies all my professional life and one thing is for sure, they do like to get in cheap, thats how they stay rich.
