As I have said many times, the company can make an announcement debunking anything incorrect mentioned in the Macquarie research report. That’s what started this particular dump. They are allowed make an ‘update’. If you want an example have a look at the monthly plant completion updates provided by AGY (which is also close to production like CXO).
