@docmin24 .. I mostly agree with your post, but you highlight an often thought/felt misconception about Hot Copper. This is a discussion forum, not a cheer leaders forum. In an ideal world there would be as many negative posts as positive posts balancing out.

I've been a past holder several times, and followed what the stock was doing for a couple of years before I bought. I read about a lot of stocks, always looking for the next opportunity, and probably have more time to spend on looking at the overall market than just about anyone here.

I'm not a believer in ramping any stock over and over showing the positives, there are already way too many people that just talk their position, instead of looking for something that is much better relative to comparable companies, ie a bargain, so I only comment sometimes on stocks I own, unless something big comes along. Even then I often change my mind on stocks I own when the tide obviously turns towards the negative, just as I did here a couple of years ago and have done so on many other stocks.

This one, out of lots of others, just fascinates me. The results have been poor for years, yet it gets ramped much in excess of just about every other stock, some people obviously way too deep into this and have to try and get their money back by posting BS or some such. Plus the company itself has had some shocking reporting that ASIC should (but doesn't ) jump on top of, like the 100m+ intersections of 1%+ nickel they use to show on cross sections among other things.

Then there is just the mode of exploration here, way out of line with companies run by geologists or seasoned mining engineers etc. Nobody else has drilled over 400 holes in a small area searching for nickel without announcing an MRE, yet decides they need to drill further...
If anything this just keeps reminding me of what not to invest in, as in not just this mob, but others that follow a similar path...
