Regarding all of your points. I understand how the earth heats up and loses heat. This is not what we are discussing.

Explain to me how the greenhouse effect increases surface air temperatures at noon.
In particular, the point you seem most confused on is 4).

CO2 does not have any effect on the reflectivity of the earth.

I understand that you're trying to move through this argument to eventually get to the point that "theres less cloud coverage which means less reflectivity which means more heat". Whether the lack of cloud cover is caused by the dark side of the earth warming is debatable, I'm unconvinced either way.

But that is unrelated to my point.

The direct effect of greenhouse gases has no effect at midday. That's it.

You can talk all you like. Nothing you've said is incorrect but none of it has anything to do with CO2 and peak temperatures.

Here's one for you. The moons surface temperature reaches 120C in some places. Now, why would that be?
