Which relies on both steel demand being maintained despite the Chinese construction boom being over, and VRFB demand going through the roof - which simply hasn't looked like happening yet. So yes, there IS only room for one, MAYBE two new major vanadium sources over next few years. To say that major new supply coming on line in the tiny vanadium market is no threat to AVL is a frankly ridiculous comment IMHO.
But my question would be why risk the uncertain demand and tiny market in vanadium, when you can invest in lithium, where demand is already confirmed and get better gains? With 4 billion shares on issue, likely a lot more to come, there are no super gains to be had here that justify the increased risk.
