You're welcome to try and provide any scientific, or even Scientific (your religious dogma) evidence that it does.
Because, if you read very carefully your religious texts, you will find that none make any claims about maximum temperatures. Indeed, if you look at any plot, you will only see averages.
So, I am not really defying Science at all. Because Science makes no such claims
