Thanks for the responses. My belief is that clearly many important issues needing investigation aren't being disclosed or discussed. It's outrageous how Conroy and Rudd want to rush this NBN gravy train through, the most gigantic taxpayer funded nonsense in history with NO scrutiny. For example issues like the loss of power supply to the home people clearly don't understand. Too much apathy in Australia - Rudd and Conroy getting away with murder, spending their time in the public talking bland nonsense. Detail, cost/benefit, cashflow, viability, price to the consumer vs wireless, installation issues, etc is what it's all about - no one is holding Conroy accountable.

By the way transarensa, the fibre receiver may last for a few hours, but what which system will power the phones? You'll either need a bigger external UPS or a UPS for each phone !!
